ASTYPALEA
Astypalea (or Astypalaia) is often referred to as "the butterfly island" due to its particular shape.
Seen from above it really has the shape of a butterfly and in Stenó, which means "narrow", the distance between the two coasts is only 100m!
The island is halfway between the Cyclades and Dodecanese archipelagos.
It has a strong character and is not very frequented by tourism; the asphalt road ends in Livadi and if you want to reach some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, you will have to continue on the dirt road.
Consigliamo il noleggio di un mezzo di trasporto, indispensabile per raggiungere tutte le bellezze dell’ isola.
